(VOVworld) – 150 old photos of Ha Long Bay taken by some French experts between 1855 and 1950 will be on display for the first time in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, on Tuesday evening. These photos belong to a collection of retired history teacher Doan Thinh and his son, architect Doan Bac.

The collection describes Ha Long Bay a decade ago in different angles. Lam Dong Food Company will choose the best 100 photos to print on 100 bottles of Da Lat wine, which will be auctioned to raise funds for needy children in Quang Ning province.

It is a key event of the ongoing annual Carnival Ha Long Festival.
