Online Tourism Day 2017

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Vietnam E-commerce Association jointly launched Vietnam’s Online Tourism Day 2017 on Wednesday.

The event aims to connect tourism enterprises with others in sectors such as IT, online marketing and payments, insurance, and aviation. Discussions focus on the inevitable development of online tourism, related policies, the impact of IT on tourism, business activities of domestic and international travel agents, and deploying IT and e-commerce at every travel agency.

Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Department, La Quoc Khanh, said that online tourism has become a new trend for consumers and travel agents: “SME’s promotion is relevant in the tourism industry. In the digital era, tourism industry requires new solutions and connectivity, especially to boost relations between foreign travel agents and their domestic partners.”
