(VOVworld)- An international conference on microchip technology opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday drawing the participation of more than 250 delegates. Jointly held by the National University in Ho Chi Minh City and the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, the conference heard more than 40 reports on orientations for Vietnam’s microchip technology industry and research and training in this field. The delegates also discussed microchip design, technology, accessories, IC integrated systems and microchip application. Japanese experts presented reports on microchip packaging in Japan.
