(VOVworld) – Vietnamese ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh visited California last week. He met with politicians and business representatives in the cities of San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles and the Vietnamese community in north and south California.

Ambassador Vinh said that the Vietnamese state considers Vietnamese people in the US and other countries an inseparable part of the nation. Overseas Vietnamese in California said they want to contribute to Vietnam’s development. Ambassador Vinh and the overseas Vietnamese discussed Vietnam’s state policies, Vietnam-US relations, the East Sea issue, and opportunities and challenges created by the TPP.
