Overseas Vietnamese youths offer incense at Quang Tri ancient citadel
(VOVworld) – A delegation of young overseas Vietnamese on Sunday paid floral and incense tribute to war martyrs at Quang Tri ancient citadel. This is part of the 2016 Vietnam camp program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 10 to July 23.

The delegation remembered the previous generation who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom. The young overseas Vietnamese was informed of the undaunted struggle and the brave sacrifices of tens of thousands of Vietnamese during a battle which lasted 81 days and nights in 1972. The Quang Tri ancient citadel relic site is considered a common grave of tens of thousands of martyrs, who died in this historical land.
The young overseas Vietnamese also paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Road No9 national cemetery.
