(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong has said party congresses at all levels have been held successfully thanks to high political determination, great effort, and responsibility of the whole political system despite the adverse impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and climate change.

Chairing a Politburo conference in Hanoi on Thursday to review the organization of the Party Congress at all levels for the term 2020-2025, Mr. Trong said the personnel work of the congresses has been renewed, promoting democracy, objectivity, openness, transparency, and strict compliance with principles, procedures, and regulations, ensuring the Party leadership.
According to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, the success of the congresses at all levels is the effort and wisdom of the entire party, people, and army who enduringly prepared for almost the past term, inheriting valuable experiences from the previous term.
Mr. Trong emphasized the importance of the upcoming National Party Congress and said each person should uphold the sense of responsibility before the party, country, and people by setting examples and learning experiences from party congresses.
Party congresses at all levels are a widespread political drive across Vietnam, where experiences and lessons have been learned for the next term.
