Party leader, President Nguyen Phu Trong chairs Politburo meeting

In his address, Party leader and President Nguyen Phu Trong stressed the importance of the upcoming NA meeting in which a number of laws and resolution are expected to be adopted. He asked the NA Standing Committee, the government and relevant agencies to prepare carefully for the meeting and reform the meeting management to bring into full play wisdom and responsibilities of NA deputies in order to ensure the meeting’s effectiveness and save time and resources. He asked Politburo members and the Party Secretariat to settle all related issues. He urged agencies of the Party, the NA, the government and the Fatherland Front to work closely to improve the performance of the political system.
