(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong received former Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong in Hanoi on Tuesday. Goh said he is ready to share his experience and support Vietnam in areas of its concern which include infrastructure development, particularly in transportation, personnel training, and seeking financial sources for its development projects. He said that he hopes Vietnam will continue to develop, contributing to the development of ASEAN and Singapore. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said Vietnam prioritizes developing relations with Singapore and asked both countries to increase visit exchanges and expand cooperation in trade, investment, education, and training in order to deepen their strategic partnership.
