(VOVworld) – Beautiful landscapes, tourism potential, and the cultural preservation of Ha Long Bay, Quang Ning province, are the highlights of a photo contest entitled “Ha Long Bay – A World Natural Heritage”. The contest was launched on Monday by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Quang Ninh provincial Association of Literature and Arts to mark the 20^th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Ha Long Bay as a “World Natural Heritage”. The photos must have been taken no earlier than 2012. The most outstanding photos will be selected for an exhibition at Quang Ninh Museum, to open on October 14^th when the closing and awards ceremony is scheduled to take place.
