(VOVworld) – Phu Tho province’s 18^th Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term opened on Tuesday.

National Assembly chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the province should develop practical measures to achieve fast, sustainable growth and become a development hub for the northern midland region: “It is important to focus on fast, sustainable growth to create breakthrough mechanisms, which can promote economic growth, industrial development, high quality services, green agriculture, cultural preservation, social security, environmental protection, urban development, new rural development, and industrial production. The province should review and supplement socio-economic development plans and increase connectivity with provinces in the northwestern region and Hanoi.”
