PM attends 14th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business
(VOV) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung hailed the organization of the 14th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business in Ho Chi Minh City which reflects the trust of German and Asia-Pacific businesses in Vietnam’s development prospects. Prime Minister Dung made the remarks in his opening speech at the conference on Friday.

He believed that Vietnam’s reform efforts and its participation in several high standard free trade agreements will definitely improve its legal and business environment in future, adding this will help Vietnam connect with many global economic blocs and partners. He said both domestic and foreign businesses in Vietnam will have opportunities to export their products and services to Vietnam’s partner countries at low tax rates and without technical barriers in accordance with free trade agreements that Vietnam will sign. German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel told the conference that Germany always welcomes and creates favorable conditions, including building a more favorable business environment for businesses in Asia-Pacific to invest in Germany. He expressed his belief that the conference will open up new cooperation opportunities among businesses of Germany and Asia-Pacific countries.
