At a ceremony to mark the Academy’s 60th anniversary in Hanoi on Saturday, Mr. Phuc said:“The development of the National Academy of Public Administration should be combined with building a contingent of cadres, especially those at strategic level, who are capable to work effectively in the context of extensive international integration and the 4th Industrial revolution. The Academy must adopt a strategy of training, strengthen international cooperation, particularly with Laos and Cambodia. Knowledge training must be in sync with morality training so as to build a contingent of cadres, who are loyal to the Party and State and highly-professional.”
Prime Minister Phuc presented the Independence Order, second class, to the National Academy of Public Administration and certificates of merits to its teams and individuals.
The Academy has 3 branches in Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien-Hue, and Dak Lak province. It has trained hundreds of thousands of cadres, state employees, and members of the armed forces.
