At a reception for visiting Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment Elba Rosa Perez Montoya on Tuesday, Mr. Phuc called on the two countries’ leaders, ministries, and localities to maintain regular exchanges of visits and facilitate cooperation between their businesses.
The Prime Minister hailed the Cuban ambassador’s contribution to promoting Vietnam-Cuba cooperation. He said he believes the ambassador will continue to link the two parties, the two states, and the two peoples.
Ms. Montoya said her visit to Vietnam aims to consolidate their affiliation in science, technology, and natural resources, and noted that the recent Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba approved a strategy to create a scientific, technological, and environmental development model by 2020, which is expected to facilitate the two countries’ cooperation in these fields in the years to come.
