(VOVworld) – Science and technology is one of important factors in Vietnam’s rapid and sustainable development. At a meeting with members of the Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations, Prime Minister Dung said science and technology will help increase Vietnam’s productivity and economic competitiveness, and protect national security. He called on the Union to strengthen its organization by uniting its members, both at home and abroad, and making full use of their knowledge and creativity in national construction and defense. He reiterated that the Vietnamese government always creates favorable conditions for scientists and intellectuals to fulfill their duties and assigned tasks, and contribute to national construction and development.
