Mr. Chinh was speaking at a meeting on Friday, which connected delegates at the Government’s Headquarters in Hanoi with 46 provinces and cities that have key national transportation projects or construction material mines.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of key transportation projects, saying they play a significant role in disbursing public investment capital, promoting economic growth, and opening up new development opportunities for localities along both the North-South and East-West axes.
The issues discussed included investment procedures, resource allocation, capacity enforcement, technical infrastructure, site clearance, and social security for affected people.
According to the Steering Committee, there are 34 key projects including five railway and two airport projects.
