(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in Stuttgart city, Baden Wuerttemberg, on Tuesday, beginning his official visit to Germany at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

During talks following the welcoming ceremony, Minister-President of Baden Wuerttemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, spoke highly of Vietnam’s achievements in economic development and improved relations between Baden Wuerttemberg and Vietnam. In reply, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said: “we are pleased to see more and more businesses from Baden Wuerttemberg come and invest in Vietnam. We will facilitate their long-term and profitable operation in Vietnam, especially in equipment manufacturing, pharmaceutical chemistry, clean energy, and vocational training.”
PM Nguyen Tan Dung asked Baden Wuerttemberg authorities to support vocational training projects and the Vietnam-Germany University project in Ho Chi Minh City, and accelerate the signing of a Letter of Intent for Vietnam- Baden Wuerttemberg cooperation in science and technology.

In Stuttgart, PM Nguyen Tan Dung and Mr. Winfried Kretschmann attended the Vietnam- Baden Wuerttemberg Economic Forum, where the Vietnamese leader insisted on Vietnam’s priorities to foreign investors - the equitization of state-owned enterprises and the developing of infrastructure for electricity, renewable energy, urban transport, seaports, and airports.
Wednesday, PM Nguyen Tan Dung and his delegation left Stuttgart for Berlin to continue their diplomatic activities.
