(VOVworld) – There have been many Vietnamese in Thailand who excelled in the movement to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Tat Thanh. At a celebration for President Ho Chi Minh’s 124th birthday, held on Monday in Nakhon Phanom province, Thanh applauded social activities that Vietnamese people living in Thailand have conducted recently.

The President Ho Chi Minh memorial complex is getting underway in Nakhon Phanom province. The project is worth 1.5 million USD, which was presented by Vietnamese Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong during his visit in 2013. When completed, it will be the largest overseas complex to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.
