President Ho Chi Minh’s statue to be erected in Saint Petersburg
(VOVWORLD) - A statue of late Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh will be erected in Vyborg town, near Saint Petersburg, Russia.

A stone marking the statue’s location was placed at a ceremony on Friday.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh said the statue holds great political, historical, and cultural significance as it will be a symbol of the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Russia.
The statue will mark 70 years of Vietnam-Russia relations and the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
