(VOVworld)- President Truong Tan Sang has hailed the importance of building a state of law of the people, for the people and by the people. Speaking at the opening session of the 12^th national congress of the Vietnam Lawyers Association in Hanoi on Saturday, the President said lawyers are inseparable force in the protection of justice and social just as well as in Party and State building:“The Vietnam Lawyers Association should promote its active innovation and diversification of activities. It must expand itself while ensure a pool of lawyers with solid professional skills and attracts young lawyers joining the association’s activities. The Association should strengthen the monitoring and policy consultation while helping the poor in the protection of human rights and legitimate interests of State and citizens.”

The President called for more international cooperation with advanced lawyers and organizations to protect justice and peace in the world.
