(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received Chairman of the management Board of Russian Gazprom Group Alexey Miller in Hanoi on Friday. President Sang praised cooperation between Gazprom and Vietnam’s National Oil and Gas Corporation in the energy sector and the commitments made during Chairman Alexey’s visit in Vietnam and asked both groups to boost the implementation of cooperative agreements. Chairman Alexey briefed the Vietnamese president on his group’s plans to cooperate with Vietnam in oil and gas. He added that Gazprom supports Vietnamese oil and gas businesses to operate in Russia.
