President says people’s health must come first
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc applauded efforts of the health sector to protect people’s lives and health as he inspected COVID-19 prevention and medical examination and treatment at Cu Chi District Hospital on Friday afternoon.

He asked the health sector to quickly secure vaccine, saying, “Efforts should be made to vaccinate the people in a timely manner. People’s health must come first and this must be thoroughly understood to make everyone safer in the process of realizing the dual goal of economic development and pandemic response.”
As new COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Vietnam, the President urged the health sector and medical facilities, including Cu Chi District Hospital, to continue to do their best to contain the pandemic.
