President sends thank-you letter to Russian President
(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang sent a letter on Thursday thanking Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Government and people of Russia for their prompt and valuable aid they sent to help the Vietnamese victims of typhoon Damrey.

On Tuesday, the Russian President instructed the Government of Russia to provide emergency aid worth five million USD to help Vietnam recover from the severe damage caused by storm Damrey in the central region.
On Wednesday, an aircraft of Russia’s Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Natural Disasters landed at Cam Ranh airport in Khanh Hoa province with relief goods for the victims.
