(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang has urged businesspeople to strengthen their foothold in the domestic market and promote Vietnamese trademarks internationally.

At a meeting with 115 outstanding businesspeople in Hanoi on Saturday, President Quang said the 12th National Party Congress was determined to push ahead with a comprehensive national reform and businesspeople were considered a vanguard force in the process.
Mr. Quang said: “I expect Vietnamese businesspeople to develop specific action programs for production, trade, and market expansion, promote internal strength, attract foreign resources, acquire advanced technology and managerial knowledge, and improve product and service quality to strengthen Vietnam’s trademarks internationally.”
He asked businesses to train competent staff and update their knowledge on international culture and laws.
