President Tran Dai Quang receives Interpol Secretary General
(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang has praised the Interpol Secretariat’s support and assistance for the Vietnamese security force over past years.

At a meeting with Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock in Hanoi on Thursday, President Quang said that since Vietnam joined Interpol, it has fulfilled its role and responsibility and cooperated closely with member police of Interpol in combating trans-national crimes. President Quang said he hoped the Interpol Secretariat and Standing Committee will continue to support Vietnamese police. Quang also asked Interpol to work closely with Vietnamese police to ensure security and safety at the APEC Summit to be held in Vietnam in November.
