At a meeting to celebrate Vietnam Physicians’ Day on February 27, the President said that the Party and Government consider health care a top priority in Vietnam’s development.
“Every doctor and healthcare worker should follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching that a good doctor should be a kind mother. The medical staff should work to improve their professionalism and medical demeanor in treating patients”, President Quang said.
On the occasion, 134 doctors and healthcare workers were awarded the title "People’s Physician".
