(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung worked with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the management of petroleum prices in the first 6 months of the year. He asked the two ministries to strictly follow price developments and work out measures to deal with global price hikes. He called for sufficient supply for production and consumption, which will contribute to controlling inflation, stabilizing the macro-economy, and ensuring budget collection. He also asked the two ministries to publicize the basis to formulate retail prices, the use of the fund to stabilize petroleum prices, and the benefits of petroleum businesses.
