(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received outgoing Thai Ambassador Anuson Chinvanno and newly-accredited Indian Ambassador Preeti Saran Wednesday.
At a reception for Chinvanno, who bid farewell at the conclusion of his mission, Dung reiterated Vietnam’s unswerving policy to develop more fruitful bilateral ties. He hopes both sides will utilize their potential strengths for cooperation. In reply, Chinvanno promised to boost bilateral relations in whatever position he will take.

Dung told Indian Ambassador that he hopes Vietnam and India will have further delegation exchanges. Dung also expressed his wishes that the two nations support each other at regional and global forums, and deepen their cooperation in economics, trade, investment, energy, tourism, defense, science technology, and culture. Dung went on to say that the Vietnamese government will create favorable conditions for Saran to fulfill her duties in Vietnam, and that he will back India’s Look East policy.

Saran replied that India always does its best to intensify Vietnam-India relation for the benefit and development of both countries. She expressed her hope that the two countries will have more people-to-people exchanges and soon operate direct flights to facilitate trade and exchanges.
