(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will begin an official visit to Malaysia on Friday. The visit aims to boost bilateral relations and cooperation within ASEAN in preparation for forming the ASEAN community later this year.

In an interview with VOV, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Pham Cao Phong, said Prime Minister Dung’s Malaysia visit will deepen the political, security, economic, social, and cultural ties between Vietnam and Malaysia: “Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will hold talks with the Malaysian Prime Minister. He will also meet with businesspeople from ASEAN countries. The two are scheduled to sign a cooperative agreement on employment.”
