(VOVworld)-Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will lead a Vietnamese delegation to the 9^th  Summit on the Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam (CLV) Development Triangle Area, to be held in Siem Riep, Cambodia from Wednesday to Thursday.

In a press briefing ahead of the meeting, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam said the Development Triangle Area has proven the effective cooperation by the 3 countries. The area’s GDP grew 10% in 2016, higher than the GDP growth of each individual country. Mr. Nam added Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam cooperation is crucial to the development of the Triangle Area, and to the development of each of the 3 countries. Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia are working on a socio-economic master plan for the Development Triangle Area until 2020.
