The Prime Minister said both nations should boost cooperation in areas of their potential and needs. Vietnam supported India Look East policy and its bigger role in the region as well as India’s more cooperation with the ASEAN. The Prime Minister expected India to strengthen its voice for peace, stability, navigation and aviation safety and security in the East Sea, as well as settlement of disputes by peaceful means based on international law. The Indian Minister of State called for more sea transport services between the two countries to lower product prices.
