(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said an improved legal framework has helped considerably in new rural development and poverty reduction.

At a conference on Tuesday to review the new rural development targets and poverty reduction programs, Mr. Hue, who is also head of the central steering committee for sustainable poverty reduction, said that last year all localities had communes recognized as new-style rural areas and local people’s living standards greatly improved. Deputy Prime Minister Hue asked ministries and sectors to optimize human resource distribution, and support struggling communes.
