Although the Southern Uprising was suppressed, the Party Committee and people quickly restored forces to be ready to grasp another opportunity for success.”
A ceremony to mark the event was held in Can Tho city on Monday. The provincial authorities and people have promoted the revolutionary tradition and built Can Tho city into a socio-economic hub in the Mekong Delta.
