(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Saturday discussed the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria, and the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project during their meeting at the German Schloss Meseberg palace.
According to the Kremlin, the three-hour negotiation between the two sides were a vsubstantiate, detailed discussion of the issues that the two leaders mentioned in the statements before the talks. Both Putin and Merkel agreed not to politicize the Nord Stream 2 project, and expressed their determination to soon finalize it. The suspension of the Minsk agreement and Iran nuclear agreement were also discussed at the meeting.
