(VOVworld) – Pyongyang is found increasing activities at nuclear test site in the northeastern region. Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Seoul quoted South Korea’s intelligence and military sources as saying on Wednesday. An unnamed source from the Seoul government said workers and trucks are intensifying their activities on the roadways near the possible test tunnel Punggye-ri. It’s likely that these activities are to prepare for a nuclear test at any time.
Earlier, Seoul officials said Pyongyang repaired damage caused by heavy rain at the nuclear test site, which has 3 roadways to the tunnels and multi-functional supportive projects.
MP Park Jie-won of South Korea’s opposition Democratic United Party said the date of Pyongyang’s nuclear test may coincide major anniversaries such the birthday the late leader Kim Jong-il on February 16 or the swearing-in ceremony of South Korean President Park Geun-hye on February 25.
