(VOVWORLD) - Ukraine’s refusal to negotiate with Russia will worsen the situation in Ukraine and lead to a total loss of Ukrainian sovereignty, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday.

He called on Ukraine to pursue a policy of neutrality, undertake partial demilitarization, and other steps to restore peace and stability.
Medvedev stressed that Russia will make a fatal attack on decision-making centers if Ukraine uses weapons received from the US against Russian territory. According to him, the decision-making centers in this case are not located in Ukraine.
