(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has praised contributions by outgoing ADB Country Director Tomoyuki Kimura to enhancing co-operation between Vietnam and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

At a reception Monday in Hanoi for Mr. Kimura, Mr. Hai affirmed the increasingly important role of ADB in Vietnam’s socio-economic development, especially in poverty reduction and clean water supply.
He expressed his wish that after his successful tenure in Vietnam, Kimura will continue to develop the bilateral ties in his new position.
