(VOVWORLD) - Voters in Bach Long Vy island district in Hai Phong city, cast early ballots on Saturday to elect deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the next 5-year tenure.

Voter Vu Thi Men said, "The voting was quickly organized as voters followed meticulous and thoughtful instructions while strictly practicing COVID-19 prevention measures. My family and I researched the candidates’ biographies and action plans to vote for the best people to represent people’s aspirations."
The same day, 12,000 voters in Dak Lak, Kon Tum, and Dak Nong province went to 63 polling stations to vote. Do Sum, Chairman of Dak Glei district’s Election Committee, that six communes and five border guard stations in the district completed early voting. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the complication of weather conditions, the local Election Committee prepared scenarios to ensure the success of the voting, Sum added.
On Friday, more than 2,000 citizens of Tho Chau island commune as well as officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 High Command in Kien Giang province cast their ballots. Colonel Duong Xuan Dung of the Coast Guard Region 4 said that the High Command prepared plans for officers and soldiers to cast their ballots and 100% of the soldiers voted on time.
On Sunday, more than 69 million Vietnamese voters will go to the polls to elect 500 National Assembly deputies and 3,727 deputies of the People's Councils at all levels.
