The nearly 24-kilometer-long road running through Hung Yen will help reduce traffic pressure on the capital of Hanoi and play a significant role in the Red River Delta key economic region.

Prime Minister Chinh said that the new road will contribute to the development of Hung Yen's transportation infrastructure as well as to regional and national connectivity. 

Earlier the same day, Mr. Chinh visited Thang Long Industrial Park, the largest and most modern IP in Hung Yen. It was built by a joint venture that includes Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation.
