(VOVworld) - Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and the US have signed a memorandum of understanding on sharing and protecting classified defense information on the Democratic People Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s nuclear and missile programs. Kyodo news cited diplomatic sources on Monday that the RoK and Japan will share information through the US.

The RoK and the US signed a bilateral military intelligence sharing agreement in 1987, while the US and Japan signed one in 2007. There hasn’t been such a document between the RoK and Japan.
