RoK renews call for negotiations with DPRK
(VOVworld) - Seoul has renewed its call on Pyongyang to hold high-level talks to resolve a set of pending inter-Korean issues. This is not the first time Seoul has proposed a negotiation with Pyongyang. At an international forum on the Korean peninsula on Thursday, South Korean Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae said Seoul is willing to work with the North to solve all pending issues. He said Pyongyang should come to "the table for dialogue as soon as possible."

Addressing the distribution of anti-Pyongyang propaganda leaflets, Ryoo said there is "no legal basis" for the Seoul government to prohibit civic groups from doing this. Pyongyang has made the cessation of anti-Pyongyang leaflet drops a precondition for resuming talks about the smooth operation of the Kaesong joint industrial zone.
