(VOVworld) – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim have discussed ways to normalize bilateral relations.

The two leaders talked about forming new mechanisms for economic and financial co-operation, including a joint investment fund, which might start next year. They agreed on the need to remove restrictions and simplify visa procedures to achieve this goal. Prime Minister Medvedev said the TurkStream natural gas pipeline project would soon be ratified by Russia.

The same day, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved the project.
