Russia, France share concern over security situation in Europe

(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron met at the Kremlin on Monday to discuss ways to ensure security in Russia and address the Ukraine situation.

Putin said Russia and France share a concern about what is going on in the sphere of security in Europe after Georgia’s attack on South Ossetia.
Macron stressed the importance of the Ukraine issue, and said he wants to find a compromise for Russia and Western Europe.
