(VOVworld) – Numerous activities celebrating World War Two Victory Day are underway in Russia, Switzerland, and Norway.

In Russia, a large number of concerts and exhibitions are being held to celebrate the Victory Day and military soldiers have been practising in Red Square for a parade which will feature some 15,000 foreign soldiers from 10 countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, India, Mongolia, and China.
Meanwhile, renowned Soviet and Russian movies are being screened at a WWII film festival at the UN Offices at Geneva. Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Oslo held a ceremony commemorating fallen Soviet soldiers during the Second World War at the Soviet soldiers’ cemetery in northern Norway.
