Russian President to visit France ahead of G7 meeting
(VOVWORLD) - French President Emmanuel Macron said Sunday he has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks on August 19, days ahead of hosting a G7 summit, to be held in the southwestern French city of Biarritz on August 24-26.

President Macron said he is ready for talks with Putin at the Bregancon fort off the country’s Mediterranean coast. Macron told the media that the talks will be held at the fort because it offers the possibility "to work in isolation and receive foreign leaders.”
