Russian war veterans in Vietnam war meet
(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese embassy in Russia in coordination with Vietnamese social organizations in Russia held a get-together with Russian soldiers who once joined Vietnam’s anti-American war on the liberation day of southern Vietnam April 30th.

Speaking at the meeting on Saturday, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son said that the Vietnamese government and people never forget the support of the Russian government and people during the war.
The event was an opportunity for Russian war veterans to recall their unforgettable memories during the war in Vietnam. Participants affirmed the long-lasting friendship between Russia and Vietnam, calling on future generations to continue to nurture this special relationship.
