The No. 3 and 4 Nhon Trach project involves building 1,600 megawatt high-efficient combined cycle power plant at Ong Keo industrial complex located 23 kilometers southeast from Ho Chi Minh. Samsung C&T will create a consortium with Vietnam construction firm Lilama to build two of each gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery boilers, and a substation and transmission line. Last year, Vietnam announced plans to invest over $100 billion in expanding power grid by 2030.
