(VOworld) – The Binh Dinh People’s Committee and the Meet Vietnam Association held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Science Space Complex in Quy Nhon on Monday. The complex, which is scheduled to be completed by 2017, will consist of a cosmological model, astronomical observatory, and science museum.

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam emphasized the importance of the construction for Binh Dinh in particular and Vietnam in general. He said a nation that wants to develop rapidly and sustainably should generate a creative environment for scientific and technological development and inspire a love for science in the public.
At a meeting with Binh Dinh’s leaders, Mr. Dam asked them to focus on education and training. He said the government would assist the province’s projects on educational and healthcare development.
