Participants discussed APEC’s agenda for this year, including the implementation of priorities set at SOM-1 and outcomes of the High-level Policy Dialogue on Human Resources Development in the Digital Age. Delegates proposed orientations for SOM-3.

The same day, the APEC App Challenge contest, initiated by APEC, was launched by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Asia Foundation, and Google. It is part of the run-up to the 23rd Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Trade this weekend in Hanoi.
