Assoc. Prof. Dr. Colonel Nguyen Dinh Bac of the Political Academy addresses the seminar

Presentations at the event in Hanoi on Friday said Uncle Ho’s testament is a priceless historical document, which covers fundamental elements of the Vietnamese revolution and focuses on Party building. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Colonel Nguyen Dinh Bac of the Political Academy said: “In Ho Chi Minh’s thought in general and his testament in particular, criticism and self-criticism is not only considered a principle and the development rule of the Party, but also elevated to a cultural level. Criticism and self-criticism with correct goals and pure motivation contribute to building the Party culture. Ho Chi Minh said the only and ultimate goal of criticism and self-criticism is to correct, encourage, and learn from each other for advancement.”

Seminar participants said the testament is not only the aspiration, sentiment, belief, and responsibility of President Ho Chi Minh, but also the lodestar of national liberation and construction over the past 50 years. They pointed out lessons learned and problems to be solved, emphasizing on new policies on implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.
