Participants shared the view that Vietnamese and Indian ties have progressed to an extent that a new era is opening up. Analyzing India’s important role in the Asia Pacific region, VOV President Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen The Ky said: “India and Vietnam serve as a bridge linking Southeast Asian countries. India is Vietnam’s reliable partner who helps Vietnam promote its motivation and strengthen security. Potential for cooperation between the two countries is huge because they are both aware of the common strategic interests in maintaining peace and development in the region and restraining the aggressive actions of those who want to use force to eliminate the role of order and international justice”.
